I went to Liverpool the weekend before I started my final year of university and I really enjoyed it. The people were friendly and the bars were always busy so generate a lively atmosphere. I would definitely go there again.

Is the best place to have a student weekend - the clubs and bars are the best. :-)

I'd get up at the crack of dawn and drive my family to the Lake District where we'd find a youth hostel to crash for the weekend. On arriving we'd plan a schedule of activities between us - my top choices would include fishing, boating, walking, climbing (Catbells - Wainright's family friendly walk), as well as a visit to The Beatrix Potter Museum and a couple of hearty pub meals. If the sun shines we'd have to go to St Bees - a fantastic beach and the start of Wainright's coast to coast walk.

My perfect weekend would have to be in West Cornwall, visiting the old tin & copper mines at St Just, taking a stroll around St Michael’s Mount and finishing off the day by going to see an evening performance the Minack outdoor theatre, Porthcurno. On the Sunday I would visit one of Cornwall’s charming fishing villages, take a walk along Cornwall’s beautiful coastline and stop for a cream tea before retreating back to a cosy cottage.

After a lazy morning in bed I like nothing more than going for a long bike ride. Recently a new cycle path has opened up between Tonbridge Castle and Penshurst Castle. The views are amazing and what's more there is no traffic as it goes along the river Once we have arrived in Penshurst we always stop off for a pub lunch, before we start on the return trip. To me this is pure escapism

One of my perfect weekends would be spent in London shopping. As I don't live in London I love coming to London to shop. The variety is amazing compared to other parts of the South East. After draging my boyfriend around the shops we always go for a nice meal.

The sun is beaming, I am on Brighton beach reading my book and having a chilled drink. I go to a nice seafood restaurant, eat and then head back to the beach again with a good bottle of wine and my book. Oh and the sun is still shining.

Surf's up dude. Great place to relax, enjoy the sun, sea and practise your moves on the board. Still a grom but everyone has to start somewhere and Croyde's good in learning.
