Lilac Cottage
Lilac Cottage is a self-catering cottage located in Aldbrough. The cottage is ideally situated for bird watching, fishing, walking and for visiting Hull and Beverley. We also offer the use of a recording studio for the musicians amongst you.

The Garden House
The Manor House is a 16th century listed building, with one addition in the 18th century and now The Garden House addition in the 21st century. There is a single external front door leading to a flagged entrance hall and 2 internal front doors. The front door of the Garden House leads to the living area with full height windows giving wide ranging views over Upper Calderdale.

In the summer life revolves around the cricket green, with cricket matches being played ever Saturday and Sunday. In the winter, ramblers and walkers criss-cross the numerous footpaths that traverse the village.

This railway carriage, built in Derby in 1962, has been fully refurbished to a very high standard and is situated at the old Cloughton Railway Station, on the Scarborough to Whitby line which closed in 1965 after 80 years of taking passengers along the scenic, 21-mile route between the 2 towns. The carriage is fully air-conditioned and has 2 twin-bedded rooms and 1 double, en suite room, sleeping 6 in all, in addition to a separate shower-room/toilet, kitchen and 19-foot lounge/dining area.
