The Enjoy England Quality Rose
The Quality Rose is the mark of England’s official, nationwide quality assessment scheme and covers just about every type of place you might want to stay, using a clear star and diamond grading system: from
caravan parks to stylish boutique hotels, farmhouse B&Bs to country house retreats, self-catering cottages by the sea to comfy narrowboats perfect for getting away from it all. Think of the Quality Rose as your personal ‘phew factor’ guarantee (‘phew, now I know it’ll be okay’) that your expectations will be met. Look no further. Just look for the Quality Rose. Parks are required to meet progressively higher standards of quality as they move up the scale from one to five stars:
1 star: Acceptable
To achieve this grade, the park must be clean with good standard of maintenance and customer care.
2 star: Good
All that is expected at an acceptable level plus an improved level of landscaping, lighting, refuse disposal and maintenance.
3 star: Very good
Most parks fall within this category; three stars represent the industry standard. The range of facilities will vary but all parks will be of a very good standard.
4 star: Excellent
You can expect careful attention to detail in the provision of all services and facilities. Four star parks rank among the industry’s best.
5 star: Exceptional
Highest levels of customer care will be provided. All facilities will be maintained in pristine condition in attractive surroundings.
