Bright Michelin stars are shining over restaurants across England.

South West England has an enviable reputation for its cuisine, locally-produced food and top chefs. This was further confirmed with a Michelin star for young chef, Nathan Outlaw, at luxury bed and breakfast St. Ervan Manor. And with a further two restaurants - Elephant Bar and Restaurant and Orestone Manor - in the picturesque Victorian resort of Torquay also gaining the accolade.

London’s opulent Mayfair  now boasts a dozen Michelin-starred restaurants – enough to dine out all week, for lunch and dinner! Gordon Ramsay’s newest restaurant Maze, whose trademark menu offers small ‘grazing’ plates, joins established star-winners like Nobu, Sketch and Mirabelle.

The latest Michelin star awards commend some of Britain’s young talents like Tristan Lee Mason at The Hare in Berkshire and 24 year-old Robert Thompson at Winteringham Fields in Lincolnshire. Thompson features local produce in his menus, including fresh fish delivered daily and vegetables and herbs grown in the property’s gardens.
