With more than 60 varieties of tea on the menu, it is hardly surprising that Four Seasons Hotel London received The Tea Council's 2003 award for Best Tea Place in London and more recently, in April 2006 the Lounge was one of just four places to receive an Award of Exellence by The Tea Council. The amazing choice, including their own Four Seasons Anniversary blend, is not the only reason for this recognition however. The elegant surroundings of the Lounge, the tinkling of a piano in the background, and the delicate china bearing sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and jam, and some irresistible French pastries all contribute to an unforgettable experience. The champagne tea is an extra indulgence, and even latecomers won't miss out because servings go on until 7pm. Light meals and snacks are also available in the Lounge throughout the day, with a pre-theatre menu for early diners.
