A wonderful stately home in a glorious setting, where visitors are treated as house guests. From the moment you enter the quarter-mile gravel drive and pass the amazing 'Fountain of Love', you know this is going to be a very special experience. Greeted by uniformed footmen at the door, you’re shown into the wonderfully atmospheric, oak-panelled Great Hall. Guests are offered a choice of rooms in which to take tea, served promptly on perfectly matching Spode china. A tempting selection of well-filled sandwiches, assorted teacakes, scones and home-made jam and pastries are available as well as a choice of tea, coffee and infusions. Guests are asked about special dietary requirements on booking.
