Taj Hotels have owned London’s unique Bombay Brasserie (SW7) and the elegant St James’s Court Hotel for many years. But it took until 1999 to open an Indian restaurant here. The restaurant is accessible from the street. The restaurant name comes from Quilon, a town on the coast road in the south of Kerala. This is a clue to that the food is from the various states of South India. Some of the food to watch out for includes Patridge Masala cooked in red chilli, Crab Cakes, and Masala Fried Squid to name but a few.
