Cheese shop - Ludlow Food Centre
Ludlow Food Centre
Ludlow Food Centre not only runs a glorious British cheese counter with cheeses primarily sourced from its four surrounding counties - Shropshire, Herefordshire, Powys and Worcestershire - but also makes cheese in the dairy attached to the shop using locally sourced milk. At different times of the day customers can peak in and watch the various processes and, of course, they are samples on offer.
Currently they make Croft Gold, a cow’s milk cheese rind washed in local cider brandy; a ”no name” fresh curd cheese and Bromfield Priory similar to a crumbly Lancashire cheese. Watch out for Oakley Park, a Cheddar-style cheese that launches this October.
