For a true taste of Devon, Elise recommends Celeste, a Jersey milk brie-like cheese from Sharpham, Devon Oak, a creamier, more mellow version of Cheddar, Beenleigh Blue made from sheep’s milk with its contrast of salt and sweet and Vulscombe, a fresh, mild goat’s and lightly creamy cheese. Her own personal favourite is Little Stinky, a washed rind cheese made exclusively for her in Bude in Cornwall
