For nearly 15 years Robert Rees has been a working chef in the Cotswolds.  Thanks to a unique knowledge and respect for local materials, a flair for communication and a wicked sense of humour, Rob has become well-known as the Cotswold Chef – a reputation boosted by television appearances and invitations to demonstrate all over the world, from Den Haag to Delhi.

Rob Rees’ popular cooking classes are on offer starting Autumn 2005 at his family cottage in Far Oakridge near Bisley with a brand new kitchen and garden. To gain real value numbers are going to be limited to 8 guests maximum. There will be up to 20 chances per year to indulge in cooking classes.

Rob’s new kitchen will also make a great venue for Rob’s Dine at Chef’s Table option. For those new to the idea, book yourself and some friends for an exclusive lunch or dinner, with Rob giving you the chance to touch, smell, hear, see and taste all the experiences of a truly memorable gourmet occasion. Either let Rob do the work as you and friends have lunch in beautiful surroundings or take the opportunity to turn the occasion into an entertaining mix of demonstration and conversation. There will be no more than 8 opportunities per year for 8 guests to indulge in Dine at Chefs Table - truly exclusive.

Over the Cotswold year you can experience cookery demonstrations, tasting sessions, presentations by guests from local farmers markets and wine traders as well as guided Cotswold Food Tours, 'hands on' practical cookery lessons and some very special lunches and dinners - including the return of 'Ladies Only' Lunches', infamous from the Painswick days at the Michelin-rated Country Elephant Restaurant.
