The Miller Howe is located in 5½ acres of landscaped gardens above Lake Windermere in the heart of the English Lake District. In addition to the cookery school, Miller Howe also comprises a delightful hotel and estate cottage and a gourmet restaurant which has won many awards over the years. It is was founded in 1971 and is now owned by Charles Garside who ensures that Miller Howe remains one of the leading food hotspots in the English Lake District and Britain.
Miller Howe runs residential cookery courses in November every year. Each course can accommodate up to a dozen students with each course offering four sessions and demonstrations over 4 nights.
