Penrhos Court, an old manor farm can be found on the Welsh borders. Daphne Lambert is responsible for the Green Cuisine courses. She is firm believer that we are what we eat and that when organically grown food comes from the land around us it gives us a sense of true well-being. Guests can expect, during their residential courses, to have practical sessions in the kitchen preparing food that gives you health and vitality. Courses range from looking at the relationship between food and our health as well as organic gardening and healing courses.
Daphne is well known for being the first restaurant owner to be certified by the Soil Association and regular writes about food. She also holds a successful open day every year. The event attracts leading food experts, scientists, food and drink producers, the media as well as the general public. Worth getting along to if you’re planning to be in Herefordshire!
