Steamers and launches sail daily during the year between Ambleside, Bowness and Lakeside with seasonal sailing to the Lake District Visitor Centre (Brockhole), the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Steam Railway, the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction and the Aquarium of the Lakes. Cross-lake ferry services include Bowness to Ferry House (for Hilltop), Ambleside to Wray Castle, Lakeside to Ferry House.
