A portrait of The Queen’s reign by leading press photographers

et up close and personal with Queen Elizabeth II at an extra special photography exhibition in Windsor.
The Queen: Sixty Photographs for Sixty Years will be held at The Drawings Gallery in Windsor Castle from 4 February to 28 October to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.
You may see the Queen’s head every time you reach for your wallet, but this collection of images is a lot less worn and a little more refined. Sixty poignant moments in history will hang proudly from the walls, capturing the many personas of the world-famous monarch.
There will be serious Elizabeth, oozing grandeur and control as she attends official events in a tweed two-piece and hat to match; a more relaxed Princess Elizabeth captured with close family; and of course, the Queen in all her bling glory, with a diamond-dripping crown perched on head and glittering orb in hand, ready to hand out OBEs to Ronnie Corbett and the likes.
And once you’ve finished eying up Her Majesty, why not pop outside for some fresh air. Like its name suggests, Windsor Great Park is a bit of a big deal – 1,000 acres of woodlands, lakes and gardens to be exact.
And the best way to soak it all up has to be cantering along in a horse-pulled carriage. Why not practise your royal wave while riding around the park, well one can dream.
