I was watching Charlie Boorman last night on his new travels 'By any means' and wondered what are the most unusual ways to travel in England??

Fred Dibnah and his mates travelled by traction engine during filming for a series. I quite liked that idea of travel, but I bet the novelty would soon wear off.

As part of an exchange travel series, also on TV, two families travelled around on a London bus.

Earlier this year when driving in Cumbria, I was surprised to find myself overtaking someone on one of these on a country lane.

Not sure how legal it is to go on the roads with one of these!
