West Lindsey’s Churches Festival

Cycle Grand Prix

This 86 mile race attracts riders from all over the world and is now going into its 53rd year of existence. Taking in some of the beautiful uphill areas of Lincoln this is an extremely popular and pretty course. Tel: 01522 873213

Brigg Fiddle Fest 14 May 2008 to 17 May 2008
There are a series of workshops and performances in some of the public houses and in the town. There is a Busking Competition held in the Market Place on the Saturday and fiddlers from across the county attend this annual event.

Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival 17 May 2008 to 01 June 2008
Beneath Lincolnshire’s ‘big skies’, lies the rolling landscape of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Wolds are a haven for walkers and become the main venue for the popular annual Walking Festival.

With planned and organised routes suiting all ages and abilities, there is something to suit everyone and every pace. Choose from leisurely strolls to serious treks; from pub walks to town trails, step out into green and glorious countryside, or take a nearby coastal route, where seabirds soar over miles of rugged beaches. Hi escafeld - Thanks for the list of events. There is definately a lot of interesting things going in Lincolnshire this spring and summer. My parents are hoping to move to the area some time this year I'll forward them this list and maybe they can visit again to get a real feel for the area.

Hi lola. I love Lincoln, so I'm always looking for a reason to drive the 64 miles round trip. I've just missed the Greater Lincoln weekend when they threw open the doors to many historic buildings and it was all for free! Sick
