funnily enough the first thing that sprang to my mind is the weather, which is very ironic after the summer we've had! Isn't it funny though when you are abroad and you have a warm but comfortable sunny day and you find yourself saying "ahh this is perfect, just like a perfect English summer day."

Weird eh?

As apposed to abroad?

...the lack of deadly snakes, spiders, etc.
...grass and trees.
...climate.
...fish and chip shops.
...cups of tea.
...architecture.
...waterways.
...road and rail network.

...sense of security.
...radio, tv and phone coverage.

...the current price of petrol. 89.9p per litre
...etc.

Marmite! I also have to agree with Northy the cold crisp winter mornings are lovely, especially if a bit of bright sunshine is involved...
