Anyone else think this has been the best year for wildflowers in a long time? I grabbed this shot on the 4th July, just a mile from home. http://www.geograph.org.uk/profile/4330/all

Wow. That is an amazing picture. I saw something similiar a few years ago when I was on a weekend break in Gloucestershire. Everytime I get stressed I just try and recall that image and it helps me to relax .

Wow!! That really makes you want to climb inside and explore! Where are the best places to find wild flowers in England? I can't find anything on this site... it's a really nice idea

Thanks all chorth - I did a search in geograph.org.uk for wild flower wild flowers wildflowers and wildflower and came up with these places. http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=3028642http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=3028648http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=3028650http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=3028659NOTE - In some cases the searches will have thrown up the same images. The Geograph Category name is Wildflowers, but some contributors separate into two words and sometimes leave the 's' off. The 'Submitted Articles', A posy of wild flowers', throws up even more. http://www.geograph.org.uk/discuss/index.php?&action=vthread&forum=6&topic=1696 http://www.geograph.org.uk/profile/4330/all
