The annual Punch and Judy festival takes place in Covent Garden on May 11th. Punch and Judy Festival Mr Punch has certainly survived against all the odds - political correctness and playstations spring to mind! . What do you all think about Punch and Judy? Is it an out of date slapstick humour and violence or just very good fun for kids to watch??

I used to watch Punch and Judy as a kid. Its just a bit of harmless fun no worse than Tom and Jerry and much more entertaining.

My children have only seen a Punch and Judy show a couple of times and I must say they were absoutely enthralled. Not sure if it is entirely politically correct but it is a tradition that has survived for a long time and it doesn't look like it is going anywhere!

So many of the things I grew up with as a kid are now a distant memory due to political correctness - hopefully Punch and Judy can hold on in there, where's the harm in it??

I watched a Punch and Judy show again last week at a local fete. It was hilarious. I don't know how we still get away with it the way things are going here but I'm glad we can anyway!!!
