We have a really good Farmer's Market near us in Horsham - West Sussex Horsham Farmers Market. It is held on Saturdays and sells a really good range of local produce. The Turkey sausages are great!

My local farmers market in Tunbridge Wells is amazing. I love stocking up on the fresh cheese and of course the apple cider.

For the last few years, except last year I have visited the Royal Agricultural Show in Stoneleigh Park, Warickshire. There you can pick up some amazing local products from fantastic chesses to sausages and even locally produced knit wear. I am also a big fan of Lincolnshire sausages - though unfortunately I don't live in Lincolnshire. My local butcher does a very good imitation though. As far as the waistline goes - some food is just too tasty to miss out on!

You can't beat real bacon. The taste is fantastic. I particularly like sausages mixed with ingredients such as honey, apricots, apple or stilton. Farmers markets are great for finding these types of sausages and mixed with other natural ingredients you would not have thought about eg pork prunes and brandy. They always make me want to go home and try new things.
