Castleford
Castleford is well known for its designer outlet village, Freeport, with a wealth of shops offering up to 50 per cent off high street prices on leading fashion brands. It is also home to one of the north's newest attractions, Xscape. This boasts the UK’s longest indoor real snow slope at 175 metres, fed by 1,500 tonnes of real snow, as well as an indoor skate park, a 16 metre ice climbing wall, 14-screen Cine UK Complex and 20-lane bowling alley. There are also various bars and restaurants, with a state of the art nightclub attracting top DJs.
