The carnival processions start at 14:00 and 19:15, featuring floats, walking fancy dress and marching bands. A funfair and village green with family entertainment is open from 12:00. Grand firework display at 21:30.
The beer festival is held in aid of local charities at the Alton Maltings Centre. There will be an average of 40 different ales, mainly from Micro Breweries. Also wines, lagers, food and music available at both sessions.
