Amble
Amble-by-the-Sea is a small fishing town at the mouth of the River Coquet, with fine, quiet, sandy beaches to the north and south. The harbour and estuary are popular for sailing and birdwatching, and Coquet Island lies one mile offshore. A new marina opened in 1987.
