Morecambe
Morecambe is famous for its fabulous sunsets and stunning views across the Bay to the Lake District. Here you will find all the attractions of a traditional seaside town, with five miles of flat promenade ideal for a walk along the sea front to take in the views.
Along the way you can visit the statue of Eric Morecambe, where his familiar pose still brings sunshine. Why not take a stroll along the Stone Jetty to try a game of Magpie Hopscotch, or discover the Flying Fence, both of which form part of the Tern Public Art project which reflects Morecambe's international importance as a bird habitat. There's plenty of indoor fun too - try a game of laserquest at Megazone or ten-pin bowling at Superbowl.
