Attleborough

Attleborough

It was once famous for its cider works (depicted on the town sign) and for producing turkeys, which used to make the journey to the London markets on foot. The small shopping centre is set around an attractive green, while the parish church was once the centre of a much larger building, whose remains can be seen. Thursday is Attleborough's market day.
