Borehamwood
Borehamwood is historically associated with the film industry, although today only two studios remain. The BBC Elstree Centre is home to the sets of ´Eastenders´and ´Holby City´. Nearby is the much older settlement of Elstree, which sits on the ´Roman´ Watling Street, with old houses and inns of timber-framed and brick construction.
