To search our database of events, follow these simple steps.
From the top navigation bar on the Enjoy England homepage, select the What To See & Do tab and then select the Shows & Events option
1. Enter the name of the event you’re searching for in the text box and click on the Search button.
2. Or alternatively, you can select from the dates that you want to search on. For the date selection, click on the calendar icon and click on a date to select it. To search on a single date, enter the same date in both the From and To boxes.
3. Now, select the type of event that you would like to see from the Choose event type drop-down menu (selection covers: All; Pageantry and Processions; Music, Dance & Theatre; Shows & Demonstrations; Exhibitions; Festivals; Activities; Sports).
4. You can also enter the name of a town or region in the text box below the event type drop-down menu – or select a region from the Choose Region drop-down menu.
You can search for an event using the above search criteria that best suits your requirements.
5. There are two ways to display your search results:
• Display on map: Your search results are shown as icons on a map - click on an icon for more information.
• Display as list: Your search results are listed as the most relevant to your search criteria.
Once you have selected one of the display criteria, make your attraction search by clicking on the Submit button.
Search Results:
The search results screen displays up to 100 records that meet your search criteria. If there are more than 100 results, the database returns a random selection of these. You can alter how many results are displayed on each page by clicking on the Results per page: drop-down menu.
Sort Results:
The results of your search are displayed in random order. There are a number of ways of sorting your results by selecting an option from the Sort by: drop-down menu. You can sort results by Ending date soonest, Price (ascending), Price (descending), Proximity.
Show Results on Map:
To view the locations of all returned results, click the Display on map option at the bottom of the search options on the left.
Show on Map:
You can view location in Map, Satellite or Hybrid format. Just click on the button to select the desired format.
6. Once you have clicked on an event, you can select additional options from the left-hand menu for accommodation, attractions, events, tickets & passes, travel and resources - relevant to the particular area you have searched in.
