To search our database of attractions, follow these simple steps.
From the top navigation bar on the Enjoy England homepage, select the What To See & Do tab and then select the Attractions & Activities option
1. Enter the name of the attraction you’re searching for in the text box and click on the Search button.
2. Or alternatively, select an attraction type from Choose attraction type drop-down menu (attraction types include: Nature and Wildlife; Outdoor Activities; Entertainment & Culture; Food and Drink; Historic England; Relaxing and Pampering; Family Fun).
3. Or/and enter the name of a town or region in the text box.
4. Or select a region from the Choose region drop-down menu.
You can search for an attraction using the above search criteria that best suits your requirements.
5. There are two ways to display your search results:
• Display on map: Your search results are shown as icons on a map - click on an icon for more information.
• Display as list: Your search results are listed as the most relevant to your search criteria.
Once you have selected one of the display criteria, make your attraction search by clicking on the Submit button.
Search Results:
The search results screen displays up to 100 records that meet your search criteria. If there are more than 100 results, the database returns a random selection of these. You can alter how many results are displayed on each page by clicking on the Results per page: drop-down menu.
Sort Results:
The results of your search are displayed in random order. There are a number of ways of sorting your results by selecting an option from the Sort by: drop-down menu. You can sort results by Price (ascending), Price (descending), Proximity, Rating (ascending), or Rating (descending).
Show on Map:
You can view location in Map, Satellite or Hybrid format. Just click on the button to select the desired format.
