Hire an Aston Martin

London
On this trip you're going to need a suitable Bond vehicle to get you to the destinations. For an authentic 007 experience, can we suggest an Aston Martin, preferable the DBS as seen in Quantum of Solace. There are a number of luxury car hire companies in London where you can choose from a vast range of exquisite motors. And don't worry if you want to go for something smaller; a secret agent needs to be inconspicuous after all.

James Bond is often seen enjoying the excitement of race day, although he's usually spying on an evil fiend rather than royalty and socialites. Whether you're looking for a sporting or social day out, race day at Ascot is perfect for the 007 elegance and thrills.

Steeped in tradition and pageantry dating back to 1711, Royal Ascot (www.royalascot.co.uk/) (particularly Ladies Day) is the highlight of the racing season and of the summer social calendar. But don't worry if you can't make that particular event, Ascot has 25 race days a year so there are plenty more opportunities to enjoy the buzz of the race and the award-winning food and hospitality at this famous racecourse. Visit Windsor Castle

Windsor
After an exciting day at the races, it's time to head to your 5-star accommodation in Stoke Poges, about 40 minutes north of Ascot. You'll need to pass through Windsor on the way, so this is the perfect chance to stop off and take a look at the Queen's favourite weekend home - Windsor Castle.

With a history spanning almost 1,000 years, Windsor is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and official residence of Her Majesty The Queen. James Bond has an unbreakable loyalty to the Queen, and would no doubt approve of a visit to this impressive royal home. See England's royal heritage for more royal destinations.

Spend the night at Stoke Park Club

Stoke Poges (near Slough)

The hotel we've chosen for ultimate 007 style is the 5-star Stoke Park Club (www.stokeparkclub.com/) hotel, spa and golf club just north of Windsor. Stoke Park Club is so luxurious you could easily imagine it as the backdrop to any Bond film. In fact, the golf course here provided the film location for that infamous scene in Goldfinger where 007 challenges Goldfinger to a round back in 1964. Fast forward over 30 years to 1997, and Stoke Park was the setting for yet another Bond film, Tomorrow Never Dies. This time the Ballroom was used as Bond's hotel room in Hamburg.

Once you check in, why not take a look around some of these famous Bond sets? And afterwards you can enjoy 5-star dining and accommodation for a truly luxurious overnight stay.
