It might seem somewhat surprising that a building that suffered greatly in two destructive fires should be known as a venue for some of the biggest fireworks displays in the capital, but every year Alexandra Palace stages a fantastic display to mark the demise of Guy Fawkes. Celebrate Bonfire Night in the Yorkshire Dales - North Yorkshire

The Devonshire Arms Country House Hotel and Spa in North Yorkshire will be celebrating Bonfire Night with a bang this year. On Monday 5 November visitors will be entertained by fire eaters, stilt walkers, sword swallowers, face painters and a live band, along with an impressive array of fireworks. Sausages, burgers and hot roast beef sandwiches will be on offer as well as candy-floss and toffee apples. Tickets are priced at £6, of which £1 will be donated to The Craven Trust.
