Golden Egg Hunt

On Friday 10, Saturday 11, Sunday 12 and Monday 13 April clues will be scattered around the National Trust's Chedworth Roman Villa, when visitors will be able to follow a special Easter egg trail to win a chocolate prize. Open from 10am to 5pm.

From Monday 6 to Friday 10 April
Visitors to the National Trust’s Lodge Park will be able to take part in a 17th century-style Easter egg trail. Once again this year, budding historians will be able to follow a unique trail between 11am and 4pm, with chocolate eggs as a prize for finishing. The trail costs £1.50 in addition to normal admission prices.

While there won’t be many eggs to be found, for a real dose of spring fever Saturday 11 April 2009 will see Overbury Farms’ annual Lambing Day take place, when visitors will be able to find out how the farm works, take a tractor tour and hopefully see new lambs being born.
