Royal Ascot

Royal Ascot

The centrepiece of Ascot’s year is without doubt Royal Ascot, which dates back to 1711. This internationally renowned sporting and social occasion, where tradition meets style and white knuckle tension, has become Europe’s most popular race meeting.

In June 2006 Royal Ascot returned to its spiritual home at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire for a successful five day Royal Meeting. The racecourse has undergone a major redevelopment programme, the largest of its type anywhere in Europe, and was officially re-opened by Her Majesty The Queen.

Glamour and excitement

So if you’re partial to combining the glamour of a society event with the nail-biting excitement of a horse racing meet, look no further, as there are a range of hospitality opportunities to take advantage of and a number of ways to enjoy Ascot.

Whether it’s the more informal surroundings of the Heath, located across from the Grandstand, or the Silver Ring – where racegoers are inclined to wear smarter dress, there is a wide range of ticket prices to suit all visitors.

With over 300,000 people making the trip during the week of Royal Ascot, this is one event not to be missed, whether you’re a seasoned pro or a curious amateur. You might even fancy a flutter!
