In a serene and picturesque setting by the Water Meadows, the Hospital of St Cross is a beautiful group of Grade I listed buildings dating from 1132, including a medieval hall, 15th century tower and Tudor cloisters. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll around the buildings then picnic in the gardens. A gift shop is open throughout the year and refreshments available during the summer. St Cross is an easy walk along the river, 20 minutes from the city centre. Ample free parking on payment of admission fee.
