A unique attraction on the Isle of Purbeck. A Site of Special Scientific Interest with trees, gorse and heathers surrounding a pool which constantly varies in colour from green to turqoise. Sandy paths affords viwews of the pool from all sides, or lead down steps to the waters edge. The Tea House, first opened in 1935, offers morning coffee, light lunches and delicious cream teas with scones baked on the premises in the traditional way. The gift shop offers a wide variety of gifts, cards, books and toys and the plant centre a selection of unusual plants.
