Set in 175 acres of natural parkland and boasting 21 important historic buildings, the site mixes fascinating history, exciting science and beautiful surroundings to produce a magical trip for both old and young. A programme of special events, both educational and fun, is also available throughout the opening season. Open from May to September, weekends and bank holidays only. Also every Wednesday during school summer holidays for childrens activities.
