Sole producers of Yarg and its sister cheeses, the Yarg Cheese Farm at Lynher Dairies offers guided tours throughout the day. Visitors can experience at first hand how milk from the Lynher herd of Pedigree Holstein cows is turned into cheese and why it is wrapped in stinging nettle leaves.

The barn tearoom offers delicious light menu all made from local produce. Cornish cream teas, nettle soup, and Yarg ploughman’s are just a few of the options available.

Having seen how the cheese is made, visitors have the opportunity to take a piece home, as the entire Lynher Dairies range is available in the farm shop along with a selection of Cornish and West Country produce.
The farm is nestled in lush pastures of the Lynher Valley surrounded by nature trails. Sterts Theatre is just a short walk from both attractions; visitors of all ages can enjoy a full day out.
