The Southport Theatre and Convention Centre on the promenade is Southport's main live entertainment centre and presents an all-year round programme of shows, conferences and exhibitions.

The Theatre is a grand yet intimate modern auditorium popular with Conference Organisers and Concert Promoters alike. The facilities include an impressive 1631 capacity auditorium which can be conveniently reduced for smaller numbers to a capacity of 500. The stage measures 141m2 and full technical facilities include Dolby Surround sound and an infra red Sennheiser system for the hard of hearing. There are large roller shutter doors for ease of unloading and access, the stage can also accommodate up to 3 vehicles which with the impressive auditorium makes an ideal setting for car launches. The Theatre has excellent access for customers with disabilities.

The large foyer area links the Theatre to the Floral Hall and can be used for registration, refreshments, reception or as an exhibition area. The foyer has full bar and toilet facilities and can be used in conjct with the Theatre and/or the Floral Hall. The facilities of the Executive Suite, located within the Foyer, offer a private room within the centre of your event to act as an organiser’s office, VIP area, Press Room or secret hideaway whilst still being close at hand.
