Visitors can discover more about the area's past by exploring the varied collections on display. Geology and archeology displays provide a glimpse into how the local landscapes of today were formed. Agriculture, industry, lead mining and town life are just some of the themes of the local history collections.
Use the computer to see some of the museum's photographic collection and discover more about life in Victorian Skipton. Children will enjoy the interactive exhibits.
A range of books, gifts and souvenirs can be purchased in the Museum Shop. The shop also sells a range of local history publications about Skipton and the Craven Area.
