Island Heritage near Masham is a working farm producing natural, undyed woollen products from rare breed, primitive sheep. Watch the lambs being born from mid-Apr to May, the sheep being sheared in Jun and the fleeces being sorted for spinning from Aug to late Oct. The shop carries a wonderful assortment of rare breed woollen goods, including handknit and woven woolen garments.
