T & R theakson Ltd, Traditional Brewery, Visitor Centre and Retail Area. Located in Masham in the Yorkshire Dales. Brewers of the legendary ale Old Peculier and other famous brews, XB Bitter, Black Bull Bitter and Best Bitter. Open daily from 10.30am with tours available on the hour between 11.00am and 3.00pm. Witness our legendary brews in the making and sample a beer or two of your choice in the relaxed Visitor Centre bar. You may even catch a glimpse of their Cooper, crafting the traditional wooden casks that are still used for supplying local pubs. The gift shop is located within the Visitor Centre and is stocked full of souvenirs enabling you to take home a memory of your visit. A wide range of Theakston's merchandise is available to choose from including packaged beer, T-shirts and Yorkshire delights. Advance booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
