Hemsworth Water Park is a country park with two lakes, the largest of which is available for pedalo rides and has sandy beaches for visitors to enjoy. The smaller lake is in a more secluded part of the park with the aim of attracting various types of wildlife.

Families are more than welcome with plenty of grassed areas ideal for picnics and games and a children's "Playworld" playground. For more information on Playworld click the link below.

For fishermen (and women!) both lakes are stocked for fishing which is available all year round. Fishing matches can also be booked through the administration office on 01977 617617.
