Rutland County Museum is the perfect introduction to England's smallest county. The new 'Welcome to Rutland' gallery is a guide to the history of Rutland and leads into displays of local archeology, history and an extensive rural life collection. The site itself is also remarkable as the Museum is set in the old riding school of the Rutland Fencible Cavalry.
