A nostalgic trip through the World of radio and television programmes guaranteed to bring memories of classic TV and radio flooding back. Like a Tardis this fascinating museum compiled by Alan Hicken is lined from floor to ceiling with wonderful memories of radio and TV programmes. The painstakingly collected thousands of items of memorabilia including toys, books, annuals and games. Also over 500 radios from vintage wirelesses to novelty transistors, radiograms and televisons.
Programmes are brought to life through scenes and displays including: a radio shop, Dr Who with Tardis and life size Dalek;a human size performing Homer Simpson and more.
Situated in the picturesque village of Montacute, used in the filming of Jane Austen's 'Sense and Sensibility'. It has featured on channel 4's 'Collectors Lot', BBC's 'Antique Inspectors' HTV's 'Antiques Trail', Somerset Sound's 'Breakfast with Burgess' and contributed to BBC's 'I love the 70's/80's' and 'Richard and Judy'.
