Stanford Hall was built in the 1690s and displays all the grand decor of its time. The Ballroom, grandly resplendent in pink and gold has a fine ceiling with four trompe l'oeil shell corners. There is also a fine collection of portraits from the Tudor and Stuart periods, and a display of family costumes from that time.
The gardens of the property are also worth a visit, look at the Rose Garden, Old Forge and walk along the Nature Trail to discover the beautiful 14th century church.
The tea rooms also cater for luncheons and suppers, however, these must be prebooked on 01788 860250.
There are facilities for conferences, corporate days and wedding receptions, and accommodation. Please phone for further details.
