A 14thC hall house. Warm, friendly, furnished house with a garden in the heart of historic Lavenham, restored by the Gayer-Anderson twins in the 1930s. Little Hall, a Grade II Listed building with a magnificent crown-post roof, reveals 6 centuries of change. Its history mirrors the rise and fall of Lavenham's cloth trade, the years of industrial depression, the influx of evacuees during World War II and the start of the preservation of Suffolk's historic buildings. There are also links with ancient Egypt and Persia. Open all year, by appointment. Open Easter - 31 Oct, Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun, 1400-1730, Bank Hols, 1100-1730. Open at anytime by appointment.
