Wander round this tranquil hillside arboretum which contains over 1,000 shrubs and trees. Although perfect as an all-year-round venue, don't miss the spring's colourful blossoms (magnolias, rhododendrons, bluebells and azaleas) and fantastic autumn colour (beautiful golds and reds of maples, tupelos and cherries). Make sure you enjoy the views of the lake from the boathouse and if you have a little longer, why not take the circular walk across the wetland? Children's trails are available.
