Built in 1857, with the east wing added in 1902, Gisborough Hall, formerly the home of the Chaloner family, has been carefully refurbished and developed as a country house hotel. The family has been synonymous with the area for 500 years and they developed much of Guisborough. A magnificent Grade II Listed building retaining fine Victorian artefacts and architectural features, with additional facilities added for groups, meetings and conferences. The visitor can also enjoy a range of dining facilities, a picture gallery, landscaped Victorian gardens and planned cultural events.
