Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway

A spectacular 200-acre woodland garden on the east bank of the Beaulieu River, world famous for the Rothschild collection of rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias and magnolias in spring. Daffodil meadow, rock garden, herbaceous and grasses, rose garden, ponds, cascades and exotic trees. Enjoy our 12.25 inch narrow gauge coal-fired steam railway and Summer Lane Garden (summer flowering). 'Let the train take the strain' on a 1.25 mile journey over a bridge, through a tunnel, across a pond, along the top of the rock garden and across a viaduct. Spectacular autumn colours.
