Jamaica Inn is the Old Coaching Tavern made famous by the Daphne Du Maurier Novel of the same name, and which she based her story of wreckers. Situated just off the A30, in the middle of wild and beautiful Bodmin Moor. The complex also houses Daphne du Mauriers Smugglers Museum, which also incorporates Smuggling artefacts from past to present. See Daphne du Mauriers personal writing desk, see and hear the storey Jamaica in tableaux form. 'Potter's Museum of Curiosity' is a truly unusual collection of the weird and wonderful from around the world and travel back in time to mingle with the tub runners of the past, and learn something of the history of the Du Maurier family at 'Smugglers at Jamaica Inn'.
Museum open 7 days a week from mid Jan to December.
