Glevum Boat Hire offers a unique opportunity to enjoy a relaxing day's cruising on the 16 miles of the Gloucester to Sharpness Canal. The purpose built steel narrow boats are fully equipped for up to ten persons with cooker, coolbox, crockery, cutlery and glasses. A flush toilet, hot and cold water and cabin heater are fitted. Bouyancy aids and waterproofs are provided.

Along the route, there are numerous places of interest you can stop off at - the internationally acclaimed Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, which has recently been redeveloped with a new observation tower, exhibitions, education and restaurant facilities, as well as access to professional hides and the more conventional parkland settings with a wide range of native and visting wildfowl and birds.
